Good Morning everyone, I hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day! Mine was fantastic. My lovey came home for a visit and took me shopping for Mother's Day. We had a really great time, not because we went shopping, although you know how much I love to shop, but because we were all together again as a family. He' s leaving this afternoon and our hearts will break a little as we say goodbye. I hate to say goodbye!!!
Along the highway by my home sits this incredible old barn. I have seen it a million times before, many times as a child on my way to visit my grandparents, and I have always loved it. I have always told myself that someday I would take a photo of that wonderful barn, but never had the chance, until yesterday. We drove by it on the way home and pulled off the road to take some shots.
The thing I love about this old barn is the faded letters of the sign that once set on top of the metal roof ~ Mail Pouch Tobacco.
We have a lot of old barns around here, unfortunately, most are destroyed by graffiti. But I would really love to take a few shots of them and hang them up around the house. Hopefully I'll have time before we move next month.

Thank you for your sweet comments about the shower. It looked a lot better than what the photos showed. The ladies all loved it. Remember we are up in Maine and some of the ladies were from upper Maine, almost Canada. They kept remarking that the shoe flowers as they called them, looked like they came from New York City. It was fun. Just to let you know, I will be doing a post about my lovely award on Wednesday. I knew I had to post the shower photos first and wanted the award and you to have its own post.
