Hello my sweet friends, I hope your all having a fabulous week. I'm sorry that I haven't posted in the last couple of days, but I've actually been busy with a couple of orders! YEA!! I sold one of my new designs on Monday and had to lengthen it a bit, so this meant re-doing the whole necklace, but no problem, I didn't mind a bit!! It felt good that I was actually making something for a customer that she loved!
I'm slowly but surely getting my house in order after the move, believe it or not I still have 6 boxes to unpack. It's all vintage china that I have no idea what to do with. I have no room in this tiny place. I might just have to sell all of it.
Anyway, I thought I would show you a couple of things around the house.
Dining room.
My hutch with all of my white ironstone, I'm thinking of painting it a pale gray color instead of the aqua color. What do you think?
A spot in my kitchen.
Well, I'm off to make some new designs, have a great day.
Sincerely,
~Melinda

YAY!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear you are having a great day!
I like the aqua a lot but gray is OUR color this season so maybe a spruce up to reflect the new season lol
Your room looks so great you have such a great eye for decorating.
We need to go shopping together some day.
Take care friend
Amy

I LOVE it, Melinda! I'm drooling over all of your antique pieces and white ironstone!! *sigh* I think your hutch looks beautiful with the aqua, but it would look beautiful painted grey on the interior as well... you can't go wrong. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you're enjoying your new home. :)
Take care,
Jo
Love your kitchen photos, especially the old farm table and big cupboard. You were in my store, Country Roads, at one time, right? Thought there was something familiar about you and I saw you in Somerset Home! Hope all is well with you and your family.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sue
...Thanks for sharing these pictures of your delightful home!
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda...congrats on your order!! Your home looks so pretty and while I love the aqua the gray might look nice. You can always add an aqua treasure for a pop of color now and then!
ReplyDeleteoh you are "feathering you new nest" just lovely mon amie! I love the dining room...can never have enough ironstone, oui? I like the turquoise but think the grey would be a refreshing touch as well. happy day!
ReplyDeleteYour home is so lovely. I do like the aqua in the cupboard. I know that gray is very popular but I am still partial to anything with the hint of blue.
