Hi all,
I hope your all well and enjoying this Holiday season! I'm still not feeling that well, so this will be a short post. I just thought I would show you a photo of my tree and a couple of other things around my house.
This year my tree is a mix of all of my vintage pink, cream, white and aqua ornaments. Unfortunately, I can't really get a real tree anymore due to my family's allergies. We were given this faux tree 3 years ago and it's actually pretty nice.
A small vignette in my bedroom. I love this little silver tinsel tree I got from the flea market years ago.
This is my new vintage beauty. I got this fabulous French style cane chair from Country Roads and painted it a light French gray. Now I'm just waiting to have it upholstered by Loretta at Full Bloom Cottage. I met her last week and she is just the sweetest person, and super talented! Her style is to die for!
Stay tuned for another new vintage addition to my room in a couple of weeks, another yummy treat from Country Roads. I can't seem to stay away from that store lately, I've been going crazy in sweet Sue's store!
Talk to you all soon, have a lovely night.
Sincerely,
Melinda

OH Melinda your tree is full and beautiful
ReplyDeleteit is a wonderful tree!!!
I only do fakey trees the real ones dry out way too fast here in the desert.
I am envious that you get to live so close to Sue and her wonderful shop. I would be there all the time too coming away with goodies
I can't wait to see what else you got, I know it will be breathtaking all of your fashion is!
Happy Holidays
and get well soon
PS I have been wearing my necklace everyday, it goes so good with all my gray outfits.

I have a Christmas tree. It is a live one, really nice smelling and green. And it is standing in my family room naked. I'm getting use to the "natural" look of it! Love your tree and thanks for the Country Roads plug. It's appreciated and yes, Loretta is not only talented, but really nice as well.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sue
Your tree is gorgeous Melinda! I love pink on a tree. I have to go back to having two trees again so I can have my pretty one!
ReplyDeleteI love that chair and lucky you that you live by Loretta! I just drool and drool over her blog and all her treasures! You cannot find things like this where I am now living!!
I hope you feel better especially with Christmas so soon on the way!!

Your tree looks lovely, I hope you start to feel better real soon. Take lots of care Dee.
ReplyDeletethe tree is gorgeous! Fake trees here as well because of all those allergies too. it was sad at first but you get used to it (and over it). Fake trees are quite lovely especially when they are all draped in their "creators" beauty. You did yours just beautifully! As for that chair..i love it just the way it is! no re-hulpostery needed. so jeanne d'arc. i wouldn't change a thing! TFS!
ReplyDelete...I really hate to be sick too ~ soooo much to do!! Your artificial tree looks as lovely as a live one! My children both have allergies with a live tree too and sometimes the sacrifices we choose are for the love of our beloves:)
ReplyDeleteYour chair looks lovely as is so I can imagine how fabulous it is going to look when you have it refinished!!
