Please know that you have all touched my life in a special way and I will never forget it!
THANK YOU!!!!
Sincerely,
~Melinda

I am so glad to hear you are feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteIt is always a good thing to talk out what is bothering you.
We are here for you :)

I read your post on your father and I am sorry for your pain with this. My mother died when I was 10 and my father was more interested in his lifestyle than he was his four kids. I had alot of resentment over the years, and through alot of therapy have been able to bless him and release him. I stopped wondering "why" about all his behavior. Everyone would always say "well, he did the best he could". I never thought so, but the truth of it when you get right down to it is, he just did what he did. In that time and space, maybe it really is all he knew. No excuses, maybe he just was selfish - and that's all he knew. I wish you forgiveness in this area. Holding onto this will only hurt you - clearly, it doesn't affect his life.
ReplyDeletePrayers & love,
Marcelle

Hi Melinda...
ReplyDeleteSending you love and hugs and peace for your heart. :)
Melinda, so glad today is a better day! Sending more hugs and love! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI tried and tried to leave a comment and it wasn't happening. Today Amy shared a secret on how to get it to possible work. Sigh, I'm back.
ReplyDeleteSo, Melinda, I felt your pain when I read your post and I only hope that your stepfather realizes before it's too late, what a wonderful daughter you are.
I hope the angels give him a nudge. xo Rhonda
So glad we could help make you feel alittle bit better!

I just read your last post and it makes my heart sad for you. It is his loss shutting you out of his life, but I know that doesn't make it easier.
ReplyDeleteI guess you can only make sure this same thing doesn't happen to your own children.
Best wishes to you:-)
xoxo
