~Gray~

Lately, I love everything that is gray, dark gray, light gray, blue-gray, light French gray~my favorite!! I especially love to add touches of red here and there through accessories such as vintage red striped grain sacks and vintage linen towels monogrammed in red. What about you? What's your new favorite color to decorate with?

These are the vintage linen towels I bought at the flea market, LOVE THEM, and I will keep them, no sale!! :)

I made this funky lamp shade from a vintage grain sack, it definitely did not turn out great, but I like it anyway.

This vignette is in my dining room, I re-worked it yesterday and I am so happy how it turned out.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

P.S. Tomorrow is my 18th wedding anniversary!! Happy anniversary to the best husband, friend, and father
in the world!!

  1. Happy Anniversary! Love your photos. I don't really have a new favorite. I've always loved various shades of grey and blue, but I also like deep rich colors.

  8. I love gray too, I wear a lot of it. However, last year I tried a gray that I like, no, it did not go well with the green in my home. At least to me it did not. I am still trying to find my piece with blue. Great finds, I love the little chicken wire cloche.

  15. Hi Melinda!
Happy Anniversary! I tried leaving a comment but blogger has been giving me so much trouble! Anyway, I hope it works this time....
Your gray looks beautiful! I use a lot of aqua, I love that Frenchy-mustardy-goldish-yellow color, there's always black somewhere too. All of that sounds kind of gross together but I just have it throughout the house.
Hope to see you at The Vintage Marketplace!
    Blessings,
    Missy
