Hope your all well, just a few photos of flowers and vintage aqua bottles I thought I'd show you. I also started re-covering my vintage garden chairs to sell, tell me what you think.
This is one of the vintage prayer cards that my sister-in-law brought me back from France.
I have a set of 4 of these vintage garden chairs. So far, I've recovered one chair. I only have enough grain sack left for 2 chairs, so I'll have to figure out what to do about the other 2.
I soaked this grain sack for 3 days in Oxy Clean and it came out really clean. There was just one spot that I couldn't get out so I added a patch of a vintage grain sack I had left over from another project and I love how it turned out.
Have a beautiful day all!
Sincerely,
Melinda

Love the cloche and I love the little patch on the chair. I would do that even if there wasn't a stain to cover! You are so clever!

Your chair turned out just darling. I like the patch and the look of the faded fabric against the hard iron.
ReplyDeleteLove what you did with your chairs! I think when it comes time to sell them, they will go pretty quickly. You are so talented!
