Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
I just wanted to ask everyone out there to pray for my dad. I just learned from his wife last night that he suffered a stroke and is partially paralyzed. Unfortunately, he lives in the Philippines, so I am unable to see him. It is really hard for me to even imagine my dad being ill, he has always been so strong. I feel so helpless being a million miles away! At least I was fortunate enough to see him in October and we had a wonderful visit, thank God for that!
Anyway, your prayers would mean so much to me and his family and I know the power of prayer will help!!
Thank you all!
Sincerely,
Melinda

It's really been a tough year for so, so many. Your Dad is in my thoughts and prayers. Being so far away has to be really difficult for you. Sorry things happen like this. I know my own kids dad (my ex) had a heart attack at 55 back in November! I told him while we were married he should take better care of himself! Anyway, please just take things a day at a time. That's all you can do my friend.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sue

~good morning my dear sweet friend...my heart is heavy reading these words this morning...i am so very sorry for what your father is going through...i know exactly what it feels to be miles away and having that overwhelming feeling of what to do...my grandfather has had quite a few mini strokes over the past three years...each time they have left him partially paralyzed but as time went by...slowly he was able to regain some of the feeling back...not all...but some...his speech is what has been affected the most but the more they are willing to go through physical and speech therapy the better the results are...
ReplyDeletei have lit a candle for you and your family...i pray that he will will rise above this and be back to his old ways...that his strength comes back...i pray for you peace in your heart and calmness...i am so sorry...
as for yoga...i am so happy for you that you are going to divulge in this...i practice yoga with my littles ...it is mindful and nourishing...i know you will benefit from it in so many unexpected ways...
i thank you greatly for your gift of friendship and well wishes this past year...though ever so silent i was...i received your words and am filled with such gratitude to be able to journey along in this crazy world with you as a friend...i look forward to catching up in the days ahead...be well...and much love light and blessings shining brightly upon you and yours~
