  2. Hi Melinda.

Love the photos you shared. Especially love the simple wheat filled white pitcher on the center of Janet's table. Simple can be so beautiful.

    Blessings to you.

  4. It is so important to get yourself out there, yes some rejection you will face and it is scary but the feeling that comes from people and strangers that say, I love what you do, is the best feeling in the world.
You are great at what you do in so many ways, keep your head up and move forward girl!!

We are in full fall mode around here. Today was even a cool breeze in the morning air...its coming!!
    Love all your inspiration photos!

  6. I thought of your posts this morning as I was trying to style all of my Thrift Store finds from yesterdays's outing. It's really difficult. Sometimes I spend a whole hour trying to make one photo inviting. It tales lots of practice, but like anything else, experience is the best teacher. You just keep getting better and better each day. I read a lot of decorating magazines just to learn how designers style photos. I once read that a food stylist took an entire day just to style the perfect bowl of cornflakes for a photo shoot. He went through 17 boxes in order to find the perfect flakes, and carefully placed them in the bowl with tweezers. So, like me, don't be hard on yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day.

  10. Your sweetness and sincerity was shining in your photo. It is so hard to put ourselves out there. It's so easy to hide behind our words and images. You have inspired us all.

  11. I want to move to the house in the first picture. I want to sit on that big front porch and enjoy the wide open spaces and then spend some time in the lounge chair under the big tree. How peaceful and serene! Hey, a girl can dream!!

    Take care,
    Sue
