Life & Stuff~

Good morning all. Oh, whoops, it's actually early afternoon. I have been sick again with my stomach. I thought after a year I was finally feeling better, but it hit me again last night and I have felt just icky! I think it's about time to be tested for Gluten intolerance.

Anyway, I received my PSE 10 today and I am completely lost!! I kind if thought I would be. It took me probably an hour just to get the darn thing installed. It didn't just pop up and tell me what to do step by step, which would have been the logical thing for it to do right?

It probably doesn't help that I'm not feeling well because I'm more prone to get frustrated and to yell and want to throw my computer out the window. Although, now that I think about it, I probably wouldn't throw it out the window because it was so darn expensive! Talk about throwing money down the drain, or out the window. :) I know, I'm blabbering, sorry!

Anyway, I think I finally got it all downloaded, at least it actually popped up on the screen when I opened it on my desktop. But I have no idea what to do now. Can anyone tell me where to go for directions about how to work it? I feel like there really isn't any special about it so far, but that's probably because I have NO idea what I'm doing.

Hubby came home with some delicious Lemon Meringue pie the other day and I thought I would try my first "food" shot. Pretty bad right? But that's okay, once I learn how to shoot properly with a proper camera my photos will only improve. Speaking of cameras, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get it for my birthday in one more month.

My little one has been walking around the house the last couple of days with swim goggles on. As you can see, the lenses have disappeared so of course they can't be used any longer, that happened about 5 minutes after I bought them:)

And a very rare moment caught on film! This does not happen often believe me! It makes me wonder if this moment was staged by my little ones, they have been wanting a new toy lately, hmm?

I finally fixed up a little studio space for myself in our walk-in closet. It's just perfect for me to work on the computer and such. I'll show photos soon.

Movies, Flowers & Vintage Books~

Hi all, I hope your having a wonderful day!!~

I've just been painting and re-arranging things around the house lately, trying to keep busy.

Our weather has been kinda of yucky lately, with clouds and drizzle yesterday, it's made me want to stay inside and watch movies, and usually I hate just sitting around. 

We rented the movie "My Week With Marilyn" on Friday night and I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed it. I thought Michelle Williams did a pretty good job portraying Marilyn Monroe. We also rented "Tower Heist" which I got for hubby, but I ended up loving it. Everyone in the cast was fabulous!!

Anyway, I thought I would post some more photos of my flowers. I picked these up last week at the farmer's market they have behind Country Roads every Thursday. They had beautiful flowers and they were super cheap! Gotta love that!!~

A Little Blue~

 Hi all, I just wanted to post a few photos from around the house. I tried to re-arrange some things in my living room, but I haven't really had it in me lately to decorate, so it's not a huge change.

The truth is, I'm a little blue~

Things have been a little tough the last few weeks and I was hoping it would be better this week so I tried to stay super positive, but unfortunately it's not. So, my dreams are on hold for a while, I'm a little heartbroken about it today, but I'll try to keep my faith & my spirits up.

One Door Closes While One Door Opens~

Hello my sweet friends.

Hope you all had a wonderful and joyous Easter with your family and friends.

Ours was just wonderful. It was my oldest son's birthday, he turned 8. Oh my gracious, 8. I still can't believe that he's not that sweet little chubby faced curly haired boy anymore. The years do fly by!!~

Which brings me to my next topic. Time~ It does go by so quickly.

Things you should have done, things you should have said, and dreams you should have made a reality fade fast, and once you know it, 3 or 4 or 5 years have passed, and your still in that same place saying "someday"!

Well, I have finally decide to follow my dream!!~ I am tired of being afraid and letting the years pass me by.

First off, I have decide to close my Etsy shop.

As much as I have loved designing and selling jewelry, it just isn't where my heart lies anymore.

 So, that means that the prices in the shop will be going pretty low!!~

I will keep you updated.

I will keep my blog here going, so you will still be hearing from me, you can't get rid of me that easily:)

I'm also starting a new blog documenting my journey, so I'll let you all know once it's ready.

But, I will also be working super hard on making my dream a reality, so I might not post as often here as I usually do.

I have been studying up and preparing myself to follow my dream these last few months, and I have to say that I haven't been this happy about my future in a long time! It's exciting to feel that flame of desire for something deep inside you, a future full of hope and opportunity laying there at your doorstep.

I'm not sure how things will go, but I have faith that if I work hard and persevere, I can make that dream a reality!!~

Rustic & Joy~

Happy Monday all!!~

It's a beautiful day here and I'm filled with happiness and anticipation for the next few months.

Don't you love when you figure out what makes you really joyful? 

I can't wait to get started!!~

My oldest son is turning 8 on Easter Sunday. How does the time pass so quickly? One minute they're babies and the next they're off to college or in my case, 3rd grade.

I finally decided on what camera to buy. Now I'm just trying to convince my hubby and Mom to get it for me a little before my birthday. I hate waiting! :)

I know, hydrangeas again. But this is probably their last day because they are starting to slowly fade away.

I'm also so thankful for all of my wonderful friends following along with me, I can't believe I'm almost at 600. Thank you sincerely from my heart for coming back again and again!!~
