Canary-Yellow on a Rainy day

It's been a dreary, rainy day here in So Cal, so I'm snuggled inside adding some spring color to my home.

I scored this fantastic canary-yellow birdcage from work. {This is what you saw in my last post with the tulips tucked inside.}  I work for a children's clothing company and we use a lot of vintage prop's for displays around the shop. So when it came time to get rid of some of the prop's they've had for a while, this one came home with lucky me!

I tucked a few vintage French goodies inside.

I added some lovely pink tulips to the mantle. Tulips are becoming one of my favorite flowers this season.

Changed up a few things in my bedroom as well and added the red monogrammed grain sack to the bed for some much needed color amidst the all white bedding.

 

The only way I can get a semi-full bed shot is to take it through the mirror. My room is quite small and my lens isn't very wide.

**I've been working on a little treat for you all, that will hopefully be ready in April.

I'll let you know more about it once it gets closer to the time.
