Thank You

I just wanted to check in with you all, we're still hanging in there, still a few hard weeks ahead, but I can't even begin to tell you all that your prayers, well wishes, and outpouring of support have meant the world to my family!!
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
Just when you think that the kindness in this world is beginning to fade, people from all around the world step up and show you that it's still alive. So again, thank you!!
I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I just wanted to let you know that you have all been in my thoughts!

Prayers

I usually don't get personal on my blog because most of the time I feel like others don't really care to hear my woes. But today I'm coming to you to ask if you'll say some prayers for my family and me.
We are having a very difficult time right now, and I feel completely lost and hopeless!
I don't know where to turn, and I just don't know what to do!

I know a lot of you believe in the power of prayer, and if you could just add my family to your prayer list, if possible, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you all for your continued kindness here on my blog, your words always make my day brighter, and it has been a great comfort lately!

Canary-Yellow on a Rainy day

It's been a dreary, rainy day here in So Cal, so I'm snuggled inside adding some spring color to my home.

I scored this fantastic canary-yellow birdcage from work. {This is what you saw in my last post with the tulips tucked inside.}  I work for a children's clothing company and we use a lot of vintage prop's for displays around the shop. So when it came time to get rid of some of the prop's they've had for a while, this one came home with lucky me!

I tucked a few vintage French goodies inside.

I added some lovely pink tulips to the mantle. Tulips are becoming one of my favorite flowers this season.

Changed up a few things in my bedroom as well and added the red monogrammed grain sack to the bed for some much needed color amidst the all white bedding.

 

The only way I can get a semi-full bed shot is to take it through the mirror. My room is quite small and my lens isn't very wide.

**I've been working on a little treat for you all, that will hopefully be ready in April.

I'll let you know more about it once it gets closer to the time.

Seeing the Light

The family and I have been down for the count for the last week with the dreaded flu and I think we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
